Fell off the wagon. Not sure how much weight I put over the weekend. It seems I've done nothing but run all weekend long. Friday our taxes were deposited. Yep bill paying and what not. Went shopping. Well not shopping. I was on the hunt for my Valentines/Anniversary present that my husband said he would buy me.
Yep, a NookColor. I've been wanting one since it came out. I told him that when it came time for taxes since it was close to our Anniversary that that was what I wanted. I called several stores and everyone was out. Barnes and Noble sight said it would be 2 weeks before it was shipped out. I have no patience. I wanted it now! Well after calling another store that was 30 minutes away ..they had one! So off we went to get it. Woohoo! I love it! So does he. He plays Sudoku on it.
Saturday we got up early to take his car to be fixed. I followed in our other car. His car needed front brakes and struts. It had been sitting for a month or so while we waited for taxes. Again everything depended on those taxes right now. So we get to the mechanics and it's going to take around 5 hours, ugh! So we decided to take our chances and head to the Allstate Claims Center. See hubby hit a deer last week with our new car. Poor Ruby looks horrible.
$1900 damage right there. See part of the deer tail. He's pretty sure the deer survived as it ran off. Anyway the claims center was able to get us early. Thank goodness! Because we had a surprise snowstorm...again! 3-5" of snow and I swear it all came down at 1 time. I've never drove in snow that deep. So I was petrified. Well we get done at the Claims Center and go to lunch at Chili's. I should have ordered something healthy but I didn't. Bad on my part. Ran to Target looking for a cover for my Nook and can't find one I like or want to pay that much for one. So we left and headed back out into this........
Yeah, not fun. Get back over and pick up his car. Drove it down to the tire place as it needed a rear tire. So we left it there and went to another store behind the tire place. Hubby gets paged to the front, its the tire place. Seems when they pulled the car in the brake went all the way to the floor. A brake line busted. Not one that the mechanic had just done. A different one. So we have no choice but to leave his car and pick it up today. With a new brake line and tire. $$$$$ more of that going out the door. Get home run oldest daughter to her boyfriends house as he is not driving out in this. We probably shouldn't have either but we did. Went to visit my in laws who live down the road from us. Hubby proceeds to get my car stuck in their driveway. Took his dad, uncle and me to push the car out. It's out, it's facing town, lets just go grab dinner. Yep another not so healthy option. Came home ate and stayed the rest of the night.
Sunday we got up and picked up my parents and headed out grocery shopping. Dad will drive in this weather but it's been around 17 years since he had. They've lived in Florida for 17 years and just moved back a year ago. This lead to eating at Captain D's. Not healthy again.
Stepped on scale this morning.......it screamed! It said get off. Get back on that wagon. And stop eating all the crap! So here I am. Getting back on this wagon. Determined that after we pick up his car tonight and drop mine off at the Body Shop we are coming back home to fix dinner. I don't care how long it takes! I'll continue to eat and count points while I wait for this.....
That's right. I ordered myself an exercise bike. No excuses to not exercise now. So while I watch my shows, The Biggest Loser, I used to be Fat and Heavy, I'll be pedaling my a#$ off. I have a Wii Fit but after awhile, I got bored with it. Maybe I need new games. Doesn't matter. I love to ride bikes and this will be my cardio workout. I'm ready. Time to get back on the wagon! Oh and I still have not drank any pop except what was in my Lo Cal Cherry Limeade from Sonic on Friday. That's it!
Alright well, this is the longest post I've ever written but thats how my weekend went. How was yours?

I so depended on my taxes as well, bills are paid and it feels great! As for the WII I seem to get board with the games as well.
