1st meeting

The 1st meeting is down. Went really well. I like the leader. And the members at this meeting are older than me but have more knowledge about the new plan.

Stepping onto the scale was the hardest part. I'm at my highest weight ever and I don't like it. But that's why I joined WW again, so I can fix that problem. I gained back the 30lbs from when I was on WW in 2008 plus 10 more. Not bad considering it's been 3 years and I could have doubled that.

Last night we talked about snacks. Here I was just eating an apple and not finding it filling. Well if I had paired it with some peanut butter it would be fillling. I was aiming at 0 points only and not wanting to add anything else to it. So when I go grocery shopping this weekend I'm going to pick up some more fruit but also some veggies and hummus. I'm going to try new things.

This week is going to be the toughest. Mother Nature cursed me Monday morning so not only am I battling the bloat but I'm also battling the cravings. This is usually the hardest week of the month for me. But I'm going to show it whose boss. Me!

Well I'm off to find a healthy snack and catch up on Facebook.

  1. Glad to hear things went well at your first meeting!! Keep me posted on what you come up with for snacks, because I am DESPERATE to find things to snack on! I love apples & peanut butter, but I've never looked to see how many points the peanut butter is. And what is hummus???

  2. Hummus is mashed chickpeas with some seasonings. It comes in different flavors. The WW leader said eat with veggies but I've read where some people eat on a sandwich instead of fat free mayo.
